How to Use the SurePlunge automatic plunger?
The silicone toilet adapter is an unusual shape in order to provide an airtight seal on any toilet, large or small.  Push deep until you feel the airtight seal.

You don’t even need to try and siphon any of the existing water out.  A water filled environment helps the unblocking process significantly … SurePlunge uses the water in the bowl to forcefully push the blockage out of the way with its compressed air.

Each time you use SurePlunge you will need to insert a single-use CO2 cartridge.  Simply open the top of the unit, place the cartridge and screw the inlet cap back on.  SurePlunge is then ready for use.

Easy as 1-2-3:
1.) Insert SurePlunge into the toilet,
2.) Angle down while pushing the silicone head unto the waste pipe,
** The silicone head’s upper flange should form an airtight seal.
3.) Press button to release CO2 gas.

Is SurePlunge good for my low-flow toilets?
SurePlunge is a hero when it comes to low-flow toilets.  Low-flow water pressure is often the root cause of poor flushes.  SurePlunge will push right through where your low-flow flush did not.

Will the pressure damage my pipes?
The SurePlunge automatic plunger is specifically designed to deliver a pressure that will not damage properly installed pipes or seals.  Although it may appear powerful, it is not as destructive as rods or vigorous plunging and under normal conditions, would do no damage to standard plumbing.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to ensure airtight seal?
Yes. The silicon adapter will ensure an airtight when the unit is inserted.  Make sure you push until you can push no more, then you have an airtight seal. Failure to do this could result in unpleasant splash-back!

Do not siphon any of the existing water out – best results are a water filled environment which helps the unblocking process significantly … SurePlunge uses the water in the bowl to forcefully push the blockage out of the way with its compressed air.

What if, after using SurePlunge, there is still a blockage?
For stubborn blockages, you may need to use more than one CO2 cartridge.

The SurePlunge automatic plunger is extremely successful, even with very stubborn blockages.  But if after using it and the blockage is still apparent, the most likely the problem physical damage and lies within the piping fixture or outside drain and no amount of plunging will work.

Does it only work on blockages?
No. The SurePlunge automatic plunger is fantastic on slow drainage too.  It will solve those annoying toilets when water takes ages to drain away.

Is it one blast per cartridge?
Yes, after pressing the button and emitting the CO2 , change the cartridge and put the used one in the metal recycling.  All the CO2 is used in one blast.

How can I obtain replacement refills?
The CO2 cartridges can be purchased on the SurePlunge website or with one of our valued retailers (Amazon, eBay, Jet, Lowes, HomeDepot, etc.)
